Progress of my Mulberry

This is my mulberry as at July 2013.. cant wait to taste them

This mulberry cuttings was bought back in March 2013 from Wan Hasmah.

I plant them in 3 places; Subang

Fraser's Hill;

 and also Janda Baik.

At the moment, let me update the progress in my hse, as i dont have time to snap a pictures in Janda Baik & Fraser's Hill.

Early May 2013, still small but already produced fruits!  excited to taste them but they have been attacked by ants and drop..just like that..so sad

June 2013.. they are getting taller but no sign of fruits.. and very thin

After getting some advice from the 'sifu' in here... i trimmed them, hoping the branch will mutiple and produced healthy fruits later.  True enough..soon the fruits start popping out, very tiny.

This is the result this month.. i was hopping they will get bigger but sadly no..I cant bear to see if they are same result in Janda Baik, because i planted there quite a lot.  Imagine my frustration later if the fruits all tiny weeney...

To all my friends... any tips to get a healthy Mulberry?

Hanya 2 biji terbaik disimpan utk benih.  Buah yg Lynn simpan ni besar dan sgt juicy.  Pokoknya pun terus dibuang, bimbang ulat dan serangga akan menyerang tanaman lain.

Rasanya manis2 buah.. bukanlah manis mcm Honeydew.

Telang Putih

Lynn mencari benih telang putih ni seceruk rantau...  belek sumer gambar/blog dan muka tak malu bertanya...Yg hairannya dlm 10 blogger, rata2 menyatakan gambar tu bukan dia punya, ataupun katanya benih takda.. pelikkan?
Mungkin sbb rare, itu yg rasa susah nak jual kat orang lain.. emm alahai...akhirnya, pd June 2013, seorang wanita berbangsa Cina yg reply email lynn dan seminggu kemudian Lynn terima 7 biji benih bunga telang putih.
Punyalah happy!  sebab dah lama sgt mencari..
Semai telang perlukan kesabaran, sbb ambil masa 7-10 hari utk bercambah.  Dalam 7 biji benih, hanya 4 menjadi.. Alhamdulillah, syukur sgt..
Semua biji benih utk pertama kali Lynn semai di Subang Jaya, untuk tahu ketahanan dia..
Telang memang suka cuaca panas tapi Lynn notis dia tak secantik/segemuk telang biru..next batch nak letak baja byk2.

Tapi memang tak disangka, dalam 3 bulan dia dah mula berbunga... Double petal pulak tu!
Lynn baru tahu bunga telang putih ini juga boleh dimakan, sama seperti telang biru..

Beginilah rupa biji benihnya, sama saja spt Telang Biru..

next project...

Telang Biru Double Petal

dan...

Telang Merah Jambu

dan lagi...

Telang Ungu..

Telang Pink/Red

 ha..amacam?  menarik kan?
sebenarnya telang ni ada byk variasi..yg color campur pun ada..

tunggu.....

Planting Red Long Beans...

Hi guys..happy Monday!  Just to share my blood, tears and hard work this week.

Tadaaa!!! nice right?  the color is very bright and they are longggggg

It all started from this 5pcs of red beans

First attempt.. i plant them in Subang Jaya on end Feb 2013.  Harvested and kept just 2 long beans - most healthiest and bring to Fraser's Hill

Remember my previous post about this empty plot in Fraser's Hill?..
well, this is the place we plant the Red Long Beans.. and mixed with some Green Long Beans and Green Okras

Green Okras.. still short but already produced fruits, compared to my okras in Subang Jaya, very tall & skinny

They are very healthy.. due to raining season in here, non-stop

Looks like they gonna produced lots of fruit, eh..

Look at the green+bright red color..

Super Duper Gorgeous..right?

Look at them.. so many flowers and beans!!

With enough water.. they seems very healthy & was not touched by anything..

The Green Long Beans also looks healthy

The Super Fat & nice beans have been kept for the seeds.  Seeds will be ready for buyers in another a month.  1 pack only RM2, 20pcs inside..should be more than enough for homegrowers.

Our first harvest.  We send to mosque for them to cook for buka puasa..

We brought back a little to taste them.. they are actually sweet & crunchy..can eat them raw too

After cook, they turn dark color..almost purple. Finger lickin' good!

Seed are only RM2 per pack, 20pcs inside.
Interested? PM me, its limited.

Next project?

Amethyst Purple Bean..

and

Yellow Dwarf Concador Bean.
I have tested this bean, very buttery & creamy!

Tunggu......
